There are two steel guitar jams happening this weekend, one near Oklahoma City on Saturday and the other in Branson, Missouri on Sunday.
The Oklahoma steel jam is at the Oklahoma Country Western Museum Hall of Fame in Del City, and it runs from 10 AM to 3 PM. Leroy Wood writes, "We have a full staff band with a pro front man, vocals, and MC. These guys know all the real country songs, and make any steel picker sound good." It's open to the public - everyone is invited to bring their steel guitar or just show up to listen.
